First China Expo Poland a success
Almost 200 exhibitors from China participated in the first edition of China Expo Poland. More than 6,000 visitors acquainted themselves with the wealth of products on display. For three days, participants established business contacts, looked for trading partners and, during the conferences on offer, increased their knowledge of Polish-Chinese cooperation, including with regard to importing goods from China, exporting to China, and investments. The organisers also went to great pains to provide a number of attractions bringing visitors closer to the culture and traditions of the Middle Kingdom.
The honorary patrons of the first edition of China Expo Poland were:
- Waldemar Pawlak, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Economy
- Cezary Grabarczyk, Minister of Infrastructure
- Katarzyna Sobierajska, Under-secretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism
- The Polish Chamber of Commerce
- The Polish Information and Foreign Investments Agency
and
- The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Poland
Partners of the fair included the following Chinese business organisations:
- China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges (CICETE)
- China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT)
